Suriya45: Trisha Krishnan Set To Reunite With Suriya For Upcoming Film

Actress Trisha Krishnan is set to reunite with Suriya for his upcoming film, tentatively titled Suriya45. Directed by RJ Balaji, this collaboration will mark the return of Trisha and Suriya on screen after nearly 20 years.

The duo was last seen together in the 2005 film Aaru, written and directed by Hari. The production banner, Dream Warrior Pictures, shared a poster welcoming Trisha aboard the project on Instagram.

“Adding grace, charm, and power to #Suriya45 – welcome aboard, @trishakrishnan! A cinematic treat awaits,” the post read.

Suriya and Trisha had previously worked together in the 2002 film Mounam Pesiyadhe and were also part of the ensemble cast in Mani Ratnam’s 2004 film Aayutha Ezhuthu. The upcoming film will feature music by Sai Abhyankkar and cinematography by G K Vishnu.

Trisha was last seen in Leo, which starred Thalapathy Vijay and became one of the biggest blockbusters of 2023. She also made a special appearance in The Greatest of All Time, starring Vijay.

In addition to Suriya45, Trisha will next be seen in the film Identity, set for release in theatres in January 2025. The makers recently revealed the teaser, which showcases a visually captivating narrative rich in suspense.

The story appears to revolve around an investigation. Identity marks the first collaboration between Trisha and actor Tovino Thomas, with Bollywood actress Mandira Bedi playing a pivotal role. Aju Varghese, Shammi Thilakan, Arjun Radhakrishnan, and Vishak Nair are also part of the cast.

Directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan, who previously worked with Tovino on Forensic, the film is produced under the banners of Ragam Movies by Raju Malliath and Confident Group by Dr. Roy C.J. Identity was initially announced on November 25, 2022. The technical team includes cinematographer Akhil George, editor Chaman Chakko, and composer Jakes Bejoy.
