Stree 2 Welcomes Bhojpuri Singer Pawan Singh: New Song “Aayi Nai” Released

The highly anticipated sequel ‘Stree 2’ is just two weeks away from its release, and fans are eager to dive back into the Maddock Supernatural Universe. Known for its unique blend of horror and comedy, the franchise also shines with its catchy musical numbers. Following the success of Tamannaah Bhatia’s sizzling “Aaj Ki Raat,” the film introduces “Aayi Nai,” a song that promises to be the goofiest hit of 2024. Released on August 1, 2024, this track uniquely blends Bollywood’s charm with the energetic vibe of Bhojpuri music.

Bollywood Meets Bhojpuri Cinema

“Aayi Nai” features Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor dancing amidst the picturesque setting of a palace garden filled with sunflowers. Dressed in traditional attire, the duo lip-syncs to this romantic yet lively track. In the song, Rajkummar’s character, Vicky, playfully complains to Shraddha about her lack of reciprocation towards his feelings, while women in vibrant ghagra-cholis humorously drag him away. Sung by Bhojpuri sensation Pawan Singh, the song narrates the tale of a man waiting all night in the fields for his lover, only to be stood up. Vicky humorously expresses his frustration about wasting his youth in pursuit of true love. With music by Sachin-Jigar, the track masterfully combines the essence of a Bhojpuri love song with the energy of a Bollywood party anthem.
