Sonu Sood, well-known for leading a healthy and athletic lifestyle, recently told a fascinating story about Salman Khan. Salman once attempted to get Sonu to drink alcohol by surreptitiously adding a spike to his drink, Sonu disclosed in an interview. Sonu, however, stood his ground and refused to be fooled.
During the conversation with Jist, Sonu recounted how Salman Khan, his Dabangg co-star, would often try to get him to taste alcohol. “I don’t drink at all. Many of my co-stars have tried to make me drink, insisting, ‘We’ll get him to try it today,’” Sonu explained. He went on to reveal that Salman would joke around with other people and ask them to mix some alcohol into it while Salman would discreetly bring the glass of Red Bull to him. “He would watch closely to see if I gave it to someone else. But I never drank, and I never felt the need to,” Sonu shared, underscoring his personal choice to stay alcohol-free.
Sonu also spoke about his very simple vegetarian diet in the same interview, calling it “boring.” He now eats a simple afternoon meal of rice and dal instead of chapatis. He reflects his meticulous dedication to health and fitness by choosing egg-white omelettes, avocado, salad, sautéed veggies, or papaya for breakfast.
Sonu is now set to release the directorial movie of his life and is gearing up for the thriller. The story of the movie Fateh, inspired from cybercrime cases and based upon real incidents faced during the pandemic COVID-19 period, inspired from real incidents. The star cast of this movie includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, and Naseeruddin Shah, promising intense action sequences and compelling narration. Directed by Shakti Sagar Productions and Zee Studios, Fateh lights up the world of cybercrime and its implication in society, and it releases on January 10.
