Actors Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya gave fans a glimpse into their wedding ceremony by sharing their first pictures on Instagram on Sunday. The couple’s post included moments from their traditional Telugu wedding, capturing the essence of their special day.
In one photo, Sobhita lovingly held Chaitanya’s face as they smiled warmly. Other pictures showcased rituals, including a playful moment where Sobhita leaned back as Chaitanya attempted to place a garland around her neck. Another candid showed Chaitanya performing a ritual while they exchanged looks of affection.
The post, written in Telugu, read: “This is a sacred thread. This is essential for my long life. I tie this around your neck, O maiden having many auspicious attributes may you live happily for a hundred years.”
Sobhita and Chaitanya tied the knot on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Their wedding followed rich Telugu traditions, guided by elders and surrounded by close family and friends. The joyous event radiated love and blessings as the couple began their new journey.
Sobhita wore a gold Kanjivaram silk saree with intricate real gold zari work, complemented by traditional temple jewelry. Chaitanya opted for a classic white traditional outfit. Post-wedding, they visited the Srisailam temple in Andhra Pradesh for blessings, where Sobhita donned a yellow saree and Chaitanya sported a white pancha.
Chaitanya, previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, confirmed his relationship with Sobhita in August this year during their engagement. The couple’s union marks the start of a new and cherished chapter in their lives.
