Mumbai Police questioned an individual at Bandra Police Station on Friday in connection with the attack on Saif Ali Khan, as reported by ANI and PTI. Video evidence showed officers escorting the person into the station.
It remains unclear whether this individual is the primary suspect, and officials have stated that no arrests have been made thus far.
Details of the Attack
Actor Saif Ali Khan was reportedly stabbed multiple times early Thursday morning during an attempted robbery at his Bandra residence. The 12th-floor apartment in the ‘Satguru Sharan’ building is the home of Saif, his spouse Kareena Kapoor, their children Taimur and Jeh, along with five domestic staff members.
The event occurred around 2 am. The attacker allegedly utilized a wooden stick and a Hexa blade to inflict six stab wounds. Saif was swiftly taken to Lilavati Hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery to remove a 2. 5-inch knife lodged in his spine and treated a thoracic spinal cord injury that caused spinal fluid leakage. He is presently in the ICU but has stabilized.
CCTV Footage Surfaces
Shortly after the incident, CCTV footage revealed a man dressed in a brown collared T-shirt and a red scarf descending the stairs from the sixth floor of the building at 2:33 am. Authorities believe he entered quietly during the night.
