Rupali Ganguly Set to Leave ‘Anupamaa’ After 4 Years Amidst Backlash and Controversies?

Rupali Ganguly is reportedly quitting Anupamaa after 4 years, with her exit expected in the next three months. The show is introducing new lead characters following a 15-year leap, and her scenes have been reduced.

Rupali Ganguly, a popular face as the character of Anupamaa in ‘Anupamaa’, reportedly leaves the series after four years. Recently, the show made a leap of 15 years. Thus, with the passing of this milestone, all original actors including Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, and many more said goodbye.

As per a report from Times Now, Rupali is likely to leave the show within the next three months. The new lead characters, Shivam Khajuria and Adrija Roy, along with the love triangle between Prem, Rahi, and Maahi, have been taking all the attention from Anupama’s character. Therefore, Rupali’s scenes in the show have been lessened in the last few episodes.

This news comes after Alisha Parveen’s exit from ‘Anupamaa’, who was said to have been fired and replaced by Adrija Roy. Alisha shared her frustration saying, “Raaton raat nikal dena was not right. If you have taken a promise from me that I can’t leave the show for the next three years as per contract, you should have also promised me that you will not remove me from it. Raaton raat kisiko bhi show se nikal dena bahut galat baat hai. Aap mentally uske sapno ke saath khel rahe hain.”
