After fighting an ailment, Naurang Yadav, Rajpal Yadav’s father, died at AIIMS in Delhi on January 24, 2025. One day before his father’s death, Rajpal had recently come back from Thailand. Though his team has not yet released an official statement, reports have Naurang Yadav been sick for some time, which made Rajpal cut his shooting trip in Thailand and return to Delhi.
Rajpal uploaded a poignant picture with his father in 2018, saying he was his “greatest motivation.” He said, “My father has been my life’s greatest motivator.” But for your trust in me, I would be nowhere I find myself these days. I love you; thank you for being my father.
After learning of Naurang Yadav’s passing, supporters bombarded social media with condolences.
This catastrophe comes right on the heels of Rajpal’s admission that he had been under death threats from Pakistan. Reportedly aimed were other celebrities such as Kapil Sharma and Sugandha Mishra. In an audiot statement Rajpal clarified he had informed the police and cybercrime division of the threats. He stated, “As an actor, I try to entertain through my performances people of all ages—both young and old.” More than this, I have nothing else to say. The agencies can give the data on this subject no matter what should be said about it. I have posted everything I knew.”
The warning from Pakistan, saying Rajpal was being observed, is cause for much more than a publicity stunt; official are examining the menacing email. The email bore the signature of a BISHU.
