PV Sindhu Posts Heartwarming Pic With Fiance Venkata Datta

India’s ace shuttler PV Sindhu on Saturday shared an adorable picture with her fiancé, Venkata Datta.

The photo captures the couple feeding each other cake, with a “Miss to Mrs” caption visible on the board in the background.

“When love beckons to you, follow him, for love gives naught but itself – Kahlil Gibran2024,” Sindhu captioned the post.

As soon as she shared the image, fans and celebrities from the showbiz world flocked to the comments section to congratulate the couple.

“Congratulations you two,” Neha Dhupia commented.

“Lovely,” a fan added.

Reportedly, the image is from Sindhu and Venkata’s engagement celebration. The duo is set to tie the knot on December 22.

Recently, Sindhu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to personally invite him to her wedding.
“Always so special to spend time with you, sir. We are deeply grateful for your love, affection and guidance, sir. It is truly amazing how you can discuss badminton with me and data with Datta so effortlessly,” she wrote on Instagram.

In another visual shared by the Nirmala Sitharaman Office on X, Sindhu and Venkata were seen meeting the Finance Minister.

“Smt PV Sindhu (@Pvsindhu1), badminton player and two-time Olympic medallist, calls on Smt @nsitharaman,” read the post.

Sindhu also extended a wedding invitation to cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who expressed his delight on social media.

“In badminton, the score always starts with ‘love’, & your beautiful journey with Venkata Datta Sai ensures it continues with ‘love’ forever! Thank you for personally inviting us to be a part of your big day. Wishing you both a lifetime of smashing memories & endless rallies of joy! @Pvsindhu1,” Tendulkar wrote on X.

On the sporting front, Sindhu recently ended her two-year drought on the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour. She clinched the Syed Modi India International title in Lucknow by defeating China’s Wu Luo Yu in the finals.

The match lasted 47 minutes, with Sindhu winning in straight games 21-14, 21-16. This marked her first BWF World Tour title since her Singapore Open victory in July 2022, a BWF Super 500 tournament. In comparison, the Syed Modi India International is a BWF Super 300 event.

In 2023 and 2024, Sindhu reached the finals of the Spain Masters and Malaysia Masters but fell short of securing the titles.
