New Footage Shows Saif Ali Khan’s Attacker Purchasing Headphones Before the Incident | Watch

New footage of the man who attacked actor Saif Ali Khan during a burglary attempt has surfaced, as the manhunt for his arrest continues into the third day. One of the latest visuals shows the attacker wearing a yellow shirt, although it’s unclear if this was taken before or after the incident. CCTV footage also captured him buying headphones at a store in Dadar around 9 am, approximately six hours after the attack.

This marks the fourth visual to emerge since the incident, which took place at ‘Satguru Sharan’, a 12-story building in Bandra where Khan resides with his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their sons, Taimur and Jeh. The intruder was seen twice inside the building—once climbing the stairs to reach Khan’s floor and later fleeing.

Later in the day, the attacker was spotted at Bandra railway station wearing a new blue shirt, which he was also seen wearing while at the mobile store in Dadar. Authorities suspect he may have taken a train from the station after the attack.

Khan, who suffered six injuries, including one near his spine, tried to defend himself against the intruder early Thursday morning. The actor was rushed to a hospital where surgery saved his life. Doctors reported that Khan is recovering well and has been able to walk.

A nurse caring for Khan’s younger son, Jeh, who had first noticed the intruder and confronted him, described the attacker as a dark-complexioned man with a slim build, likely in his late thirties and around 5 feet 5 inches tall.

Sources suggest that the intruder may have scaled the wall of an adjacent compound and used the fire shaft to reach Khan’s floor, and it is believed he fled the same way.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated yesterday that the police had gathered multiple clues and would soon track down the suspect.

A man with similar facial features to the suspect was detained yesterday, raising initial hopes that the attacker had been caught. However, police later clarified that he was not involved in the Saif Ali Khan case.

The Mumbai Police have increased the number of teams searching for the attacker to 30. Authorities are also questioning individuals seen in the area during the night, as well as people with prior police records. At least 15 individuals were brought in for questioning yesterday.

The incident has sparked political debate, with opposition parties questioning the city’s law-and-order situation. In response, Chief Minister Fadnavis stated that it would be inaccurate to claim that Mumbai is unsafe.
