Netflix to Drop India vs Pakistan Docu-Series Next Month Ahead of Champions Trophy 2025

February promises to be an exhilarating month for cricket enthusiasts. Team India will face England in T20Is and ODIs on home soil. Adding to the excitement, the ICC Champions Trophy begins on February 19, featuring the much-anticipated India-Pakistan clash.

To further captivate cricket fans, Netflix is releasing a docu-series titled The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan. The series “explores the drama, passion, and high-stakes intensity of this rivalry on the home soil of both nations.” It will feature exclusive insights from cricketing legends on both sides, shedding light on little-known stories and iconic moments in this historic rivalry.

The docu-series includes appearances by greats like Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, Sunil Gavaskar, and Shoaib Akhtar. It also delves into the untold tales of the first-ever India-Pakistan ODI, providing viewers with a closer look at the rivalry’s rich history.

The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan will premiere on Netflix on February 7, ahead of the Champions Trophy showdown between India and Pakistan, scheduled for February 23.

India’s group-stage matches include contests against Bangladesh on February 20, Pakistan on February 23, and New Zealand on March 2, with Dubai expected to host these fixtures.

Meanwhile, defending champions Pakistan will open the tournament in Karachi against New Zealand on February 19. Their final group match will be played against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on February 27.
