A new teaser for the animated film Moana 2 has been unveiled, hinting at an exciting new chapter in the Disney series. The lead actor, Dwayne Johnson, shared the promo on his Instagram, offering fans a glimpse into the upcoming storyline.

The video showcases Moana reuniting with Maui as they set off on a journey across uncharted waters. It reveals Moana responding to a call from her ancestors, leading her on a quest to reconnect with her people. Fans will be thrilled to see the return of beloved characters such as Hei Hei the Rooster and Pua the Pig.

In his Instagram post, Dwayne Johnson, who voices Maui and is also a producer for the film, wrote, “Can I get a chee hoo…November 27th. MOANA 2.” The post quickly garnered a flood of enthusiastic comments from fans, with one saying, “This is awesome,” and another expressing eagerness with, “Can’t wait! I love it!”

Earlier, Johnson shared his excitement about reprising his role as Maui. On X (formerly Twitter), he explained that the character has had a profound impact on him, particularly as Maui is inspired by his late grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia. He described his role as a “true honor,” highlighting the Polynesian cultural significance of the character and the story.
