Mere Husband Ki Biwi Box Office: Will the Romantic Comedy Pick Up Pace?

‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’, which was released on February 21, is still up against competition from ‘Chhaava’, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Vicky Kaushal. On its debut Sunday (Day 3), the movie brought in ₹1.25 crore, according to Sacnilk. The film, stars Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Bhumi Pednekar in the key roles. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is still doing quite well at the box office.

Based on the report, the overall box office collection of this romantic comedy is ₹4.45 crore. On the first Sunday, ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ had an all-India Hindi occupancy of 15.82%. The movie was produced by Pooja Entertainment and had a star cast of actors such as Kanwaljit Singh, Shakti Kapoor, Harsh Gujral, Anita Raj, and Mukesh Rishi.

Plot of the Movie

The whole plot is a romantic comedy revolving around the main leads. As Ankur Chaddha (played by Arjun Kapoor) finds himself torn between his fiancée Antara Khanna (Rakul Preet Singh) and his ex-wife Prabhleen Kaur Dhillon (played by Bhumi Pednekar), the romantic comedy’s plot revolves around a series of exchanges. The audience is inconsolable as a result of the love triangle’s numerous misunderstandings.

Recently, Rakul Preet Singh had an open discussion during which she spoke about the box office performance of the film. Noting her pleasure over the support, she expressed, “I’m very grateful and humbled by the critic and public review. The audience walking out with a smile is the happiest feeling. Ours is a film to be enjoyed with family and friends, and I am hoping more people go and watch it.”

Rakul spoke up about her relationship with her co-actors, “I love both of them, they are amazing,” she further continued “I am a person who deals with everyone. I am not someone who is an insecure actor.” She added, “I think Bhumi is a great friend, she is like a sister and so is Arjun, you know it’s our second collaboration, I have known him for a really long.”
