Kris Jenner, mother of Kylie Jenner and the Kardashian siblings, disclosed on a recent episode of “Kardashians” that she is preparing for a hysterectomy due to an ovarian tumor diagnosis. Following this diagnosis, doctors recommended the procedure to prevent further health complications. In the episode aired on July 11, Kris Jenner emotionally shared this news with her close circle.
A hysterectomy involves the surgical removal of the uterus, typically performed to address issues affecting a woman’s reproductive organs. Post-surgery, pregnancy and menstruation are no longer possible. While the ovaries may continue to produce hormones in some cases, they may also be removed, ceasing hormone production and potentially causing a decline in estrogen levels, particularly for premenopausal women. Despite these changes, libido and sexual pleasure generally remain unaffected by the procedure.
Kris Jenner’s decision to undergo a hysterectomy underscores the seriousness of ovarian health issues and aims to mitigate any further health risks associated with her condition.
