Kiran Rao recalls amusing moments of Nupur, Ira’s wedding

Filmmaker Kiran Rao, who recently made her debut on Instagram, shared delightful moments from the wedding of Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan. Ira and her long-time boyfriend, Nupur, had a traditional Christian wedding in Udaipur, Rajasthan, following their registered marriage in Mumbai on January 3.

Kiran Rao, through her Instagram handle, posted several charming photos from the destination wedding. In one image, Kiran radiates joy in a stunning black off-the-shoulder dress. Kiran Rao, marking her Instagram debut, shared a picture from the sets of her upcoming comedy-drama film ‘Laapataa Ladies.’ The film, set in 2001 in rural India, revolves around the amusing chaos that unfolds when two young brides go astray from a train. ‘Laapataa Ladies,’ directed by Kiran Rao, is scheduled for release on March 1, 2024, and features Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan in key roles. The film is presented by Jio Studios and produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions.
