Amitabh Bachchan’s popular game show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC), will introduce a new feature called “Super Sawaal” in its 16th season. This addition provides contestants with a special opportunity to use the ‘dugaanastra’ between questions 6 and 10, allowing them to double the prize amount on one of these questions.

What is Super Sawaal?

The Super Sawaal is a bonus question that appears after question 5. Unlike regular questions, it does not offer options or lifelines. If answered correctly, contestants gain the power to use ‘dugaanastra,’ which lets them press a buzzer to potentially double the amount of money on one of the following questions (6 through 10). This feature adds an extra layer of excitement and strategy to the game.

For example, if a contestant uses this power on question 9, which typically offers ₹1,60,000, they have the chance to double that amount if they answer correctly. However, no lifelines can be used during this phase.
