Despite an ongoing family feud, actor Kashmera Shah was spotted visiting her uncle, actor Govinda, at CritCare Hospital in Mumbai. Earlier on Tuesday, Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Kashmera’s Visit Amid Tense Family Relations
When Kashmera arrived at the hospital, the paparazzi asked her about the incident, to which she simply responded, “Kuch nahi (Nothing),” and quickly entered the building. Kashmera is married to Krushna Abhishek, Govinda’s nephew, and neither she nor Krushna has a good relationship with Govinda or his wife, Sunita Ahuja. Despite attempts to reconcile, the two sides have exchanged negative comments in recent years.
Govinda Thanks Fans After Hospitalization
Hours after being admitted, Govinda shared an audio message in Hindi, saying, “Hello, this is Govinda. With the blessings of my fans, my parents, and God, I am doing better now. I was hit by a bullet, which has now been removed. I thank Dr. Agarwal and all of you for your prayers.”
How the Incident Happened
According to Mumbai Police, the incident occurred around 4:45 am when Govinda accidentally discharged his licensed revolver while putting it back in the cupboard. At the time, he was preparing to travel to Kolkata.
