Kartik Aaryan and South Indian sensation Sreeleela are presently shooting for Anurag Basu’s next romantic drama, the third part of Aashiqui, in Gangtok. Two of the recent behind-the-scenes (BTS) videos from the set that popped up online have got fans buzzing.
In a clip, Kartik is holding a guitar lip-syncing to the remixed version of Tu Meri Zindagi Hai from the old Aashiqui. Sreeleela, who also holds a guitar, seems to be a part of the band, while Anurag Basu is directing the scene, giving cues to the audience.

The actors were earlier seen shooting in North Bengal. One of the most shared photos from the shoot is of Kartik on a bike with Sreeleela as a pillion. With long hair and a thick beard, Kartik’s left hand is clearly bandaged.
Besides the on-set snapshots, viral pictures also featured Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela being greeted warmly at a hotel in Siliguri. There were other BTS pics too, which featured the cast and crew celebrating some downtime together.
The title of the film is not revealed. Triptii Dimri was initially cast alongside Kartik but was replaced by Sreeleela. While discussing the casting swap at an event, Anurag Basu said, “She is still my best friend, I really like her as an actress. You should ask her too what happened.”
