At India Couture Week 2024, Wamiqa Gabbi and Taha Shah graced the runway with a touch of royal elegance, captivating audiences with their opulent ensembles.

Gabbi captivated with stunning lehengas featuring intricate embroidery and dramatic flair, while Shah drew the spotlight in regal outfits embellished with luxurious brocade and Zardozi work. The grand opening night, spotlighting Asal & Mard by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, set the scene for an extraordinary display of high fashion against a majestic Haveli-inspired backdrop.

Wamiqa Gabbi: A Stunning Vision In Luxurious Lehenga Ensembles

Wamiqa Gabbi mesmerized the audience with a series of stunning outfits on the runway. She began the show in an ivory trail lehenga from the ‘Botanical Bloom’ collection. This exquisite ensemble featured a sweetheart neckline blouse embellished with golden resham embroidery, ivory silk threads, pearls, and crystals. Her flared skirt and netted veil added a dramatic flair, perfectly enhanced by glamorous makeup and flowing hair.

In her grand finale appearance, Gabbi epitomized bridal splendor in a red lehenga from the ‘Bridal Gota’ collection. Embellished with intricate Gota and Zardozi work and adorned with sparkling crystals, her ensemble highlighted exquisite Indian craftsmanship. The look was finished with stunning makeup and flowing hair, capturing the grace of an ethereal princess.

Taha Shah: Regal and Refined

Taha Shah Badussha captured attention with his regal attire. He made a striking entrance in an olive silk tissue long kurta, adorned with crystal-encrusted flying birds, and paired with relaxed yet sophisticated brocade flared pants. His second ensemble was just as impressive, featuring brocade pants paired with a dramatic textile drape embellished with intricate Zardozi embroidery and a matching belt. With impeccably styled hair and a charismatic presence, Taha Shah embodied elegance and charm.

The opening show, presented by designer duo Asal & Mard from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, was set against an opulent Haveli-inspired backdrop and energized by the lively rhythms of ‘Disco Mujra’. G.K. Chudiwala’s intricate fine jewelry further enhanced the evening’s opulence, making it a night to remember.
