IIFA 2024: Shah Rukh Khan Receives a Grand Welcome in Abu Dhabi

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan arrived at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, to host the 24th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) and received a warm welcome. The official IIFA Instagram handle shared glimpses of his room at the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, featuring a personalized cake with photos from his iconic films and a variety of treats, including dry fruits, cookies, chocolates, macarons, and truffles.

SRK’s Arrival and IIFA Highlights

Shah Rukh Khan was spotted at Mumbai airport early Thursday morning as he made his way to Abu Dhabi. The IIFA Awards this year have expanded to include Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films, with the event spanning three days. Day two is dedicated to Hindi films, and the third day will focus on the Music Awards, all taking place at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

SRK’s Excitement for the Event

Shah Rukh Khan, who will co-host the event with filmmaker Karan Johar, expressed his excitement, saying, “IIFA is a celebration of Indian cinema that resonates across the globe, and being a part of its journey over the years has been amazing. I look forward to bringing the energy, passion, and grandeur of IIFA to life once again, as we gear up for an unforgettable celebration of Indian cinema this September.”
