Recalling the incident with a smile, Shraddha revealed, “It’s an old story that many people might already know. Varun rejected my proposal back then. It’s actually quite funny now. We were on a shoot with our dads, and as a kid, I had a little crush on Varun. While playing, we reached the top of a mountain. I told him, ‘Varun, I’m going to say something in reverse, and you’ll have to figure out the meaning.’ I said, ‘You love I.’ He responded with, ‘I don’t like girls,’ and then ran away!”
This playful memory from their childhood highlights the long-standing bond between the two actors, who have shared the screen in films like ABCD 2.
