Since the online release of Sonu Nigam’s rendition of Mere Dholna 3.0 from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, fans have been showering the celebrated singer with praise across social media platforms.
At 51, Sonu Nigam remains one of India’s most cherished vocalists. Recently, he appeared on stage alongside Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan at a promotional event. Yet, what unfolded during the appearance left fans disappointed. While Kartik was warmly greeted by a group of children, many seemed to overlook Sonu, who quietly stayed in the background. Despite the situation, Sonu maintained his composure, even pausing for a selfie with a fan who approached him.

The moment was captured on video and quickly went viral. One X user commented, “Very sad to see this, but every singer or actor has his golden period. They will realise when they grow up, for sure.” Another remarked, “Sonu is great. Great men don’t ask for attention. They stay behind. They are self complete. They bask in their own success.”
Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 continues to perform well at the box office, with industry tracker Sacnilk reporting collections of Rs 183 crore in just nine days. The Anees Bazmee-directed horror-comedy, which opened alongside *Singham Again* starring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan during Diwali 2024, is expected to cross the Rs 200 crore mark soon.
