Eddie Murphy Ties the Knot: A Private Ceremony in Anguilla

Eddie Murphy and Paige Butcher recently tied the knot in a quiet ceremony held on July 9 in Anguilla, Caribbean islands, as reported by People magazine. The wedding, described as a “small private ceremony,” was attended by close friends and family. The couple, who began dating in 2012 and got engaged in September 2018, have two children together: a daughter named Izzy born in May 2016, and a son named Max born in November 2018.

Before marrying Paige Butcher, Eddie Murphy was previously married to actress Nicole Mitchell, with whom he shares five children. Eddie, who has expressed deep joy in fatherhood, has a total of ten children. Reflecting on fatherhood during a podcast appearance, Eddie emphasized the importance of prioritizing his children in decision-making, describing them as smart and leading normal lives away from Hollywood stereotypes.

Eddie Murphy’s upcoming projects include roles in “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F,” “Shrek 5,” and “The Pickup.”
