Diljit Dosanjh Adds New Delhi, Jaipur Shows To Sold-Out Dil-Luminati Tour; Tickets Available Today

Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has responded to fans’ demands by adding two additional shows to the India leg of his Dil-Luminati tour. On Wednesday, it was revealed that these new shows will take place in Delhi on October 27 and in Jaipur on November 3. This comes after Jaipur was missing from the initial tour announcement, a decision that fans had widely criticized. Their feedback seems to have worked, as the promoters acted quickly to add these dates.

Announcement Details

Late Tuesday night, Diljit’s tour promoters shared the news about the added shows, and Diljit reposted the announcement on his Instagram Stories. The post highlighted a significant update—tickets for the new shows would be available from Wednesday, October 9. It’s worth noting that Diljit is already scheduled to perform in Delhi on October 26, with these new dates adding more excitement for fans in both cities.

High Demand for Tickets

Tickets for the other shows in the Dil-Luminati tour initially went live on September 10. Such was the enthusiasm for Diljit’s concerts that most shows sold out within minutes. One X user expressed their amazement at the frenzy, tweeting, “Insane craze for Diljit Dosanjh concert. Tickets sold out in a minute (for) Dil-Luminati. Cricket World Cup ke din yaad aa gaye (reminds me of the craze for the World Cup).”

Record-Breaking India Tour 2024

Diljit shared his excitement over the overwhelming response to his Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024, which has become the highest-grossing concert tour ever in India with 2.5 lakh tickets sold. The India leg kicks off in Delhi on October 26, followed by shows in Delhi again on October 27 and Jaipur on November 3. The tour will then move to Hyderabad (November 15), Ahmedabad (November 17), Lucknow (November 22), Pune (November 24), Kolkata (November 30), Bengaluru (December 6), Indore (December 8), Chandigarh (December 14), and finally wrap up in Guwahati on December 29.
