Astrologer Venu Swamy Sparks Controversy With Predictions On Naga Chaitanya’s Marriage

Naga Chaitanya, a son to the legendary Telugu actor Nagarjuna, who has been said to be preparing for marriage with actress Sobhita Dhulipala, who played the role of Vanathi in Ponniyin Selvan, is all set to take the industry by storm in more ways than one. Venu Swamy, who had once predicted the separation of Naga Chaitanya from his wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has once more hogged the limelight with his latest comments in the media hailing his prophecies over the personal life of the actor. The couple reportedly got engaged in a private ceremony on 8 August, and the wedding is said to be on December 4.

This is amid joyous news that the astrologer Venu Swamy has caused a storm by predicting that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita marriage might not last even till 2027. Swamy shared his prediction through an Instagram video claiming the couple was likely to face difficulties as a third party man without identifying him. His comments brought down many backlash criticizing him for insensitivity. Many flayed the ethics of making public someone’s private life and dared people to respond with outrage at his comments within the Telugu film fraternity. His comments were heavily condemned by the Telugu Cinema Journalists’ Association who stated that this invasive comment was uncalled for. A police complaint was also filed against Swamy.
