Actor Arjun Kapoor recently talked about a funny incident at the big wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai. This event, attended by many celebrities and important people, had a humorous moment involving Arjun and Bruno, the husband of US social media influencer Julia Chafe.
Julia Chafe shared a video on Instagram where her husband, Bruno, talked about meeting Arjun Kapoor at the Ambani wedding. Bruno said he “bothered” Arjun twice during the party. Introduced by fashion designer Prabal Gurung, Bruno first met Arjun and took a photo with him. Later at a party, Bruno approached Arjun again.
Bruno said, “On the second night of the Ambani wedding, I saw him at the bar. I said, ‘Arjun, what’s up?’ He replied, ‘Yes, I remember you from last night.’ I said, ‘You’re in Gunday, right?’ He answered, ‘Yes, yes, yes.'”
Bruno then praised Arjun by saying, “They don’t make actors like you in America. You should come to New York. The actors here aren’t as good. We need you.” Arjun simply said, “All right. Bye.” Julia mentioned that as they were leaving, Bruno shouted, “Bye, Arjun,” and Arjun seemed to roll his eyes. She shared this funny moment on social media.
Arjun Kapoor responded to the video with a light-hearted comment on Instagram. He wrote, “I remember you Bruno (red heart emoji) much love to you for all your kind words when we met…And yes, we are literally besties now…the eye roll (face with rolling eyes emoji) is just my resting face, Julia!!! Pleasure meeting both of you though… glad you guys enjoyed India and the wedding…” His playful response cleared up any misunderstanding and showed his friendly personality.
