Known for his groundbreaking contributions, this year would have marked Raj Kapoor’s 100th birthday. Amul India joined in the celebration by paying a heartfelt tribute with a special doodle.

Today, the doodle featured the caption, “Aaj bhi dilon pe RAJ hai. Always celebrated.” Amul’s social media post read, “#Amul Topical: Celebrating Raj Kapoor’s 100 years of ‘the greatest showman of Indian cinema’!” Fans showered the post with heart emojis, and Karisma Kapoor also appreciated the tribute, responding with heart and folded hands emojis.

PM Modi Pays Tribute to Raj Kapoor

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to the legendary actor through a series of heartfelt posts on X. Reflecting on Raj Kapoor’s impact, he wrote, “Today, we mark the 100th birth anniversary of the legendary Raj Kapoor, a visionary filmmaker, actor and the eternal showman! His genius transcended generations, leaving an indelible mark on Indian and global cinema.”.
