Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek have recently acquired residential properties worth nearly Rs. 25 crore in Mumbai’s Mulund West, a prime area with excellent connectivity to both central and western parts of the city, as confirmed by Square Yards.
According to a statement on Thursday from the real estate consultancy, the Bachchans’ acquisitions in Mulund West total Rs. 24.95 crore. Square Yards verified the transactions through registered documents.
The newly purchased properties are located in Oberoi Realty’s luxury development, Eternia, which features ready-to-move-in 3 BHK and 4 BHK apartments. The family’s 10 apartments cover a total carpet area of 10,216 square feet, with eight units measuring 1,049 square feet each and the remaining two at 912 square feet each.
Each apartment purchase includes two car parking spaces and incurred a combined stamp duty of Rs. 1.50 crore. Abhishek purchased six apartments for Rs. 14.77 crore, while Amitabh acquired the remaining four, per the statement from Square Yards.
