Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule continues its dominance at the box office. The film has crossed the ₹700 crore mark in India. Despite a slight drop in collections on its second Thursday, the movie remains a massive success.

Impressive First Week Earnings

The movie earned ₹726.25 crore in its first week. It began with ₹10.65 crore from preview shows and ₹164.25 crore on Day 1. On Day 2, it collected ₹93.8 crore, followed by ₹119.25 crore on Day 3 and ₹141.05 crore on Day 4. From Day 5 to Day 8, the film earned ₹64.45 crore, ₹51.55 crore, ₹43.35 crore, and ₹37.79 crore, respectively.

Regional Contributions

The Hindi version brought in ₹425.6 crore, while the Telugu version added ₹241.9 crore. Tamil shows earned ₹41 crore, Malayalam ₹12.4 crore, and Kannada ₹5.35 crore. The Hindi screenings had 28.93% occupancy, while Telugu shows achieved 24.63%.

Competing with RRR

The film is now chasing RRR’s lifetime India earnings of ₹782.2 crore. Pushpa 2 has already crossed ₹1,000 crore worldwide and aims to reach ₹1,100 crore soon.

Top Grossers of 2024

This year, Pushpa 2 and Kalki 2898 AD are the only films to cross ₹1,000 crore globally. Stree 2 also performed well, earning ₹874.58 crore in India.

Gripping Story and Stellar Cast

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 tells the story of a sandalwood smuggler battling to sustain his trade amidst rivalry with Inspector Bhanwar Singh. The cast includes Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Rao Ramesh.

Nationwide Release

Released on December 5, the film is available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. It continues to receive praise and remains a box office sensation.
