Actor Bobby Deol seems to be in the best phase of his career right now. After making a comeback with Race 3 and Housefull 4, the actor made his big digital debut with Netflix’s Class Of ‘83, bankrolled by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. Thereafter, he was out with his second digital offering—Prakash Jha’s web series Aashram. Reviews were positive and the audience enjoyed two diverse performances by Bobby. While in the Netflix film, he was seen playing an unfussy, stolid cop and dean of a police academy, in Aashram, he played a selfproclaimed godman with criminal tracks. With Class of ’83 and Aashram Bobby wooed reviewers and viewers alike, with some calling his performance “top-notch” and others saying they were his career-best roles so far. Bobby managed to deliver two diametrically opposite roles, with consummate ease. He has managed to stun the audiences with the versatile portrayal of these two very powerful characters, balancing the good and the evil with perfection. Bobby is now gearing up for the next part of Aashram releasing next month.
