The bugle for the Lok Sabha elections in the state has been sounded. While the BJP is reaching out to the public through the Vishesh Bharat Resolution Camp, the Congress is gearing up under the banner of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.
Once again in Rajasthan, a direct confrontation between BJP and Congress is evident on all Lok Sabha seats. No preparations for the Lok Sabha elections have been seen from regional parties such as BSP and Aam Aadmi Party, along with national parties.
However, compared to Congress, BJP’s preparations in Rajasthan are proceeding at a fast pace. Just as before the Assembly elections, the Congress reached the public through the Mahangai Rahat Shivirs, similarly, the BJP is trying to connect beneficiaries through the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has toured several districts. Efforts are being made to reach all districts of Chief Minister Pradesh through this journey. BJP is actively engaged in preparing for the Lok Sabha elections, from organization to state government. All ministers are being instructed to camp from Jaipur to villages.
Meanwhile, the Congress party is preparing for Rahul Gandhi’s journey. However, the impact of the journey in Rajasthan is not visible as it will reach within a few kilometres of the state. Still, Congress leaders and workers are enthusiastic about the journey. They will try to connect the entire state through this journey. Along with this, Congress is also working on formulating a new strategy for the state. It will be revealed soon, and all major leaders will reach the public.
PM Modi is monitoring the preparations continuously
‘Mission Lok Sabha Election’ has been launched in Rajasthan and other states across the country, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.
Through the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp’ program, Prime Minister Modi is having virtual dialogues with people from various sections. Besides this dialogue program, he is promoting the government’s public welfare schemes through various other programs.
Big responsibility on Congress’s Lok Sabha coordinators
The Congress party has appointed coordinators for all 25 seats under its Lok Sabha election preparations. These coordinators will go to their respective Lok Sabha constituencies and conduct surveys regarding party candidates.
Meanwhile, Govind Singh Dotasara, the state president, has formed the State Election Committee, which includes senior leaders from former CM Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot to other key leaders.
BJP’s attempt to win 25 seats while Congress will try to open the account
In the last Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 24 out of a total of 25 seats in Rajasthan, wiping out Congress. One seat went to the National Democratic Party’s account, which was an ally of the BJP, where Hanuman Beniwal won.
Congress’s performance has consistently deteriorated in the previous elections. In this situation, in this election, BJP will try to win more seats than Congress, which will be more challenging for Congress. In this case, if the BJP tries to win all 25 seats again, Congress will attempt to open the account in the state.
