After securing victory in the Rajasthan Assembly polls, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has openly issued a challenge to the mafia in the state, declaring his intent to eliminate them using the power of the law.

In a viral social media video, Rathore, the former Lok Sabha MP who recently resigned, stated, “I will consume the mafia in my breakfast. I will unearth and eradicate them from the ground with the force of the law. If you dare, try to stop me.”

Rathore emerged victorious from the Jhotwara constituency, securing 1,47,913 votes and defeating Congress candidate Abhishek Choudhary by a margin of 50,167 votes.

Alongside Rathore, other BJP MPs who triumphed in state assembly elections resigned from Parliament. These include Arun Sao and Gomati Sai from Chhattisgarh and Diya Kumari and Kirori Lal Meena from Rajasthan.

Expressing his gratitude after stepping down as an MP, Rathore acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, emphasizing the last nine years as a period of service, good governance, and welfare. He highlighted the nation’s forward movement under Modi’s leadership and expressed determination to fulfill new responsibilities as an MLA.

Following their resignations, a delegation led by BJP President J.P. Nadda met with Prime Minister Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar.

Rathore, through a social media post, conveyed his commitment to the people of Rajasthan, pledging to bring good governance and thanking the citizens for their support.

In an unrelated development, the brazen murder of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena’s national president, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, led to the suspension of two police personnel, including the SHO of Shyam Nagar police station, by the Jaipur Police Commissioner. Gogamedi was fatally shot by unidentified assailants in Jaipur.
