Akhileh Yadav, Samajwadi Party chief claimed that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) will take away the right to vote from the people after the party gains power in 2024. He stated while spekaing to the medi on Saturday, “The BJP made the new Parliament and suspended the maximum number of MPs to escape from answering questions… They do not want the Parliament to run. The people should remain alert that if they (BJP) come into power in 2024, they will take away the right to vote. The elections of 2024 are for safeguarding the Constitution,”

He commented referring to the suspension of 146 MPs including 100 from Lok Sabha and 46 from Rajya Sabha. The MPs were suspended after creating a ruckus in the Parliament Winter Sesion and disupting the proceedings in both houses. They were reportedly asking for a statement on the Parliament Security Breach incident from the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

On the anniversary of 2001 Parliament terror attack on December 13, a security breach unfolded during the Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha. Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D jumped into the chamber from the public gallery, releasing yellow gas from canisters and vociferously expressing anti-establishment sentiments before being subdued by fellow Members of Parliament.

As the 2024 Lok Sabha elections approach, India’s political landscape is undergoing a significant transformation. The newly emerging consortium known as INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) is preparing to challenge the established National Democratic Alliance (NDA), setting the stage for a decisive electoral confrontation.

In anticipation of the 2024 elections, the political scenario in India is witnessing a profound shift. The impending electoral contest is poised to unfold between the NDA alliance led by the Modi government and the formidable INDIA bloc.
