The election results of all 25 seats in Rajasthan have become clear. These results have put the BJP in worry. BJP, which was dreaming of a hat-trick, has got only 14 seats. Whereas the candidates of India alliance have succeeded in winning 11 seats. Out of these, 8 seats have gone to Congress, 1 seat to RLP, 1 seat to CPIM and 1 seat to BAP candidate. After these election results, tension has increased in BJP, while there is a wave of happiness in Congress. The reason for this is that after a decade, Congress candidates have been able to win the election.
Talking about the election results, neither BJP nor Congress had expected such election results in the state. BJP was certain that there would be losses on some seats, but they had not even imagined losing 11 seats. At the same time, Congress leaders were claiming that their performance would be better. Whereas the reality was that the Congress leaders themselves were assuming that they could get 5 seats.
Many veterans of BJP were successful in winning the Lok Sabha elections this time in Rajasthan. Among them, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Arjun Lal Meghwal, Bhupendra Yadav and BJP State President Chandraprakash Joshi, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s son Dushyant Singh have also won. At the same time, among the famous faces who lost, the defeat of Congress leader Vaibhav Gehlot has surprised everyone. There is a lot of discussion in political circles about the defeat of Vaibhav Gehlot, son of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. At the same time, the crushing defeat of Union Minister Kailash Choudhary, who is contesting from the hot seat Barmer on a BJP ticket, is also a topic of discussion. Chaudhary remained at third position in a triangular contest on this seat. While Mahendra Jeet Singh Malviya, who resigned from Congress and MLA post before the elections and joined BJP, had to face defeat from Banswara-Dungarpur region. This seat was won by Rajkumar Roat of BAP.
This time also, Bharatiya Janata Party got good success in Mewar, Marwar and Hadoti region.
On the other hand, Congress-India alliance managed to take lead on 11 seats by getting success in Shekhawati and eastern districts. Mahima Kumari Mewar registered the biggest victory of more than 3 lakh 92 thousand votes, while Rao Rajendra Singh from Jaipur Rural managed to win by a narrow margin of 1 thousand 615 votes.
