The BJP is pulling all stops to gain victory in the byelection. In order to have a strong foothold, the Bharatiya Janata Party is constantly trying to add leaders of Congress and other parties to its fold. On Monday, BJP State President Madan Rathore welcomed senior Congress figures from Nagaur and Sawai Madhopur into the BJP fold, adorning them with party scarves. In a ceremony attended by Rathore and State Vice President Jyoti Mirdha, former Nagaur Congress District President Sukhveer Singh Chaudhary, along with a Sarpanch and District Council members, officially joined the BJP. During the event, Rathore encouraged anyone feeling disillusioned with their current party to join the “world’s largest political party,” assuring that all members will be respected and that the party will operate with the ethos of ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah.’
During the ceremony held at the headquarters, Rathore said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today the common man is expressing faith in the customs and policies of BJP. On one hand, there is the Congress Party, whose original workers are getting away from the party due to its wrong policies. The Congress Party is spreading wrong notions in the society, due to which the Congress workers are getting disillusioned.
On the other hand, there is the Bharatiya Janata Party, where work is done on the policy of nation first. BJP is a worker-based party, where workers are respected as family members. In such a situation, the original workers of Congress are joining the BJP family. At the same time, the party’s Vice President Jyoti Mirdha said that Sukhveer Singh Chaudhary has been a member of the Nagaur District Council twice, a member of the State Congress Committee, as well as the former vice president and former member of the 20-point program of Nagaur.
Former Zila Parishad member and Sarpanch Rajaram Chaudhary, former Panchayat Samiti member Ladu Ram Kudan, Manmohan Chaudhary from Youth Congress, Vijendra Baswana, Panchayat Samiti member Bhom Singh Gaud, Tejaram Chaudhary along with activists Dinesh Vaishnav, Shravan Vishnoi, Sukhram Prajapat, Amritaram Jajda, Aaduram Lega, Qazi Ateshanuddin and councillor Asim Khan from Sawai Madhopur expressed their faith in BJP and took membership of the party.
