A press conference was held yesterday regarding the first ‘Parivartan Yatra’ of the BJP, which will commence from the Trinetra Ganesh Temple located at the Ranthambhore Fort in Sawai Madhopur on 2 September 2023. During the press conference, the organizer of the journey, Arun Chaturvedi stated that the first of four transformation journeys in Rajasthan would begin from the Trinetra Ganesh Temple in Ranthambhore. He mentioned that before starting the journey on September 2, a formal prayer ceremony, or “pooja archana,” will be conducted at the Trinetra Ganesh Temple by Arun Chaturvedi, the organizer, along with co-organizer Jitendra Gothwal and other BJP leaders. The journey will commence after the Ganesh worship.
However, the Parivartan Yatra’s chariot, led by BJP’s National President JP Nadda, will be displayed in the Jan Sabha ground organized in Sawai Madhopur and not from the Trinetra Ganesh Temple. The Jan Sabha, held during the transformation journey, will be addressed by JP Nadda, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, State President CP Joshi, and opposition leader Rajendra Rathore. Central Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Dr Kirodi Lal Meena, MP Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria, Jaswant Singh Meena, Manoj Rajauriya, and other leaders will also be present during the Jan Sabha.
Arun Chaturvedi explained that after starting from Sawai Madhopur, the Parivartan Yatra will proceed to Gangapur City, where the participants will rest for the night. This first Parivartan Yatra by the BJP will pass through various constituencies in Bharatpur Division, Jaipur Division, and Tonk District, covering a total of 47 assembly constituencies. This 1854-kilometer journey will conclude in Jaipur after 18 days, with a grand rally scheduled for September 19, by PM Narendra Modi.
Arun Chaturvedi further detailed that on the first day of the Yatra, National President JP Nadda will walk alongside for 8 to 10 kilometres. Afterwards, different prominent leaders of the party will join the journey at various locations.
