Kashmir: BJP General Secretary Tarun Chugh declared on Tuesday that the recent killings of soldiers in Doda will not go unpunished.
Speaking to The Daily Guardian, Chugh emphasized that Pakistan is engaged in a futile conflict, asserting that the country has already lost the war it is fighting. He reaffirmed the Indian government’s determination to respond decisively to acts of violence and highlighted the critical need for unity in the fight against terrorism.
Chugh’s statements come in the wake of increased tensions and strong commitments from various political figures and officials to tackle terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. This includes recent calls from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and other authorities for rigorous measures and public cooperation to effectively combat terrorism in the region.
The remarks were made during a workshop program for booth conferences in Jammu and Kashmir, attended by several key political leaders. Among those present were Election In-charge and Union Minister Shri Krishna Reddy, State President Ravinder Raina, former Deputy Chief Minister Shri Kavinder Gupta, MP Jugal Sharma, Sat Sharma, Shamsher Singh, General Secretary Dr. Maniyal, and Sunil Sharma.
