In connection with the Shraddha murder case BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala challenged Aam Admi Party and said if they can ascertain his relationship with Aaftab Poonawala within 24 hrs then he will quit politics.  The other day Shehzad Poonawal sent a legal notice to AAP’s Naresh Balyan who questioned whether he has a certain connection with Aaftab Poonawal, the accused in Shraddha murder case, on the pretext of sharing same surname.

“If there is no relationship between them, then why is Shehzad Poonawala fleeing?” the AAP MLA tweeted.  In response to the tweet, BJP spokesperson tweeted and said his lawyer will send a notice to the AAP leader for the “unsubstantiated, reckless and defamatory statements”. The AAP leader said he can’t be scared by the legal notice and that he will raise his voice seeking justice for Shradhha Walker.

“That despite knowing that my client has no relation with Aftab Poonawala, you have issued this tweet under scrutiny deliberately and intentionally to defame my client,” the notice said.

“There are many people by the surname of Poonawala. If they can’t prove any link, then Arvind Kejriwal will have to quit politics, “Shehzad Poonawala said.

This gruesome act of murder has triggered a political rift where Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra  is accusing Congress and ‘AAP’ for maintaining silence. “Have you read any tweet or statement from Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Kharge ji or Arvind Kejriwal,” Narottam Mishra said.  On the other hand, ‘AAP’ has accused BJP’s Shehzad Poonawala of being associated with the culprit.
