In a recent executive meeting of the Shivalik Vikas Manch in Morni, Vijay Bansal, State President and former chairman, played a prominent role as the chief guest. During the gathering, Bansal attentively listened to the concerns of Morni Block residents and announced the formation of the executive officers of Shivalik Vikas Manch for the Morni Block.
Vijay Bansal appointed Gulab Singh Rana as the President of Shivalik Vikas Manch Morning Block, with Raghuveer Singh Rana as Deputy Head, and Pradeep Valmiki Morni and Vedram Thapli as Deputy Heads. The three general secretaries appointed were Patram Kandara, Krishna Lal, and Pritam Bhinwar.
Furthermore, four secretaries were appointed, including Lal Singh Kathi, Jaiprakash Sharma Barwa, Tilak Raj Numberdar, and Hemraj former sarpanch Mandhana as block secretaries. Surendra Singh, Dheeraj Sharma Dhiman Morni, Manoj Sharma Thapli were appointed Organization Secretary, and Dilip Darda, former BDC member Bhoj Darda, was appointed Treasurer.
During the meeting, Advocate Vijay Bansal addressed the issues faced by the villagers of Morni Block. He assured them that their concerns would be presented to the government for prompt resolution. Villagers raised concerns about the education system, emphasizing the need to fill vacant teaching positions and address infrastructure challenges in local schools.
The villagers highlighted the condition of roads, demanding the construction of the Dabsu-Rewari bridge over the Ghaggar river for safer commuting to school, particularly during the rainy season. They also emphasized the delayed installation of a suspension bridge over the Dangri river, causing children to face difficulties reaching Tikkar Government School.
Vijay Bansal accused the BJP-JJP coalition government of discriminating against the Kalka assembly constituency.
He urged the government to address the needs of the only hilly area, emphasizing the provision of education, healthcare, improved roads, and employment opportunities. Bansal criticized the previous government’s unfulfilled promises of development in the Kalka area and expressed confidence that the Congress would lead in the upcoming elections.
Vijay Bansal concluded by asserting that the people of Kalka are not swayed by false propaganda and anticipate a change in government during the upcoming elections.
