The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has issued a three-line whip requiring all Lok Sabha MPs to be present in the House on December 8, 2023, emphasizing the importance of upcoming legislative discussions and the need to support the government’s position.
“BJP issues a line whip to all its MPs of Lok Sabha to be present in the house on December 8, 2023 as some very important legislative business will be taken up for discussion and to support the government’s stand,” BJP official release stated.
In a Lok Sabha session today, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia addressed the substantial losses faced by airlines due to the enduring impact of the coronavirus on the aviation sector. Responding to IUML MP ET Mohammed Basheer’s inquiry regarding airfare hikes and government control, Scindia highlighted the seasonal nature of the aviation industry, distinguishing high and low seasons from October to mid-January and then from May to June. He emphasized that this pattern isn’t exclusive to India but a global trend.
The ongoing winter session of Parliament, which commenced on December 4, is scheduled to conclude on December 22, encompassing various critical legislative discussions and deliberations.
