Jammu, March 13: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu Kashmir conducted five Shakti Kendra and Booth Sammelans across various Assembly segments as part of its “Vidhan Sabha Pravas Yojana-2024”. Senior party leaders chaired these meetings, emphasizing the achievements of the Modi government and outlining electoral strategies for the upcoming Parliamentary elections.
Led by Ashish Sood, Seh-Prabhari of J&K BJP, the Sammelans at Chenani and Udhampur East Assembly segments saw the participation of notable leaders including Pawan Khajuria, Vice-President of J&K BJP, and former Ministers Pawan Gupta & Ajay Nanda. These gatherings aimed to energize party workers and strengthen grassroots organizational structures.
In the Bhaderwah Assembly segment, Shakti Raj Parihar, Vice-President of J&K BJP, underscored the importance of active party involvement at the local level. Similar sentiments were echoed by Ch. Vikram Randhawa, former MLC, during the Hiranagar Assembly segment Sammelan. Addressing the Inderwal Assembly segment Sammelan, Ishtiaq Wani emphasized the unwavering commitment of party workers, urging them to intensify efforts despite challenges, especially in the run-up to the Parliamentary elections.
Ashish Sood, while chairing two meetings, reviewed the progress of committees formed at the Shakti Kendra and Booth levels, urging for their swift activation to bolster party activities on the ground. He reaffirmed the Modi government’s dedication to bringing peace and prosperity to Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that all promises made to the public have been fulfilled.
“Modi government has brought peace and prosperity to J&K. It has fulfilled its all promises made to the public. People will witness further upsurge in development in its 3rd tenure,” stated Ashish Sood, rallying ground-level party activists to translate support for the Modi government into electoral victories.c Shakti Raj Parihar called upon party workers to actively contribute to organizational strengthening in their respective areas, emphasizing the need to devise effective strategies for engaging with constituents ahead of the elections.
Vikram Randhawa highlighted the transformative impact of flagship schemes such as Ujjwala, PMAY, Ayushman Bharat, and Mudra in the region, underscoring the Modi government’s commitment to comprehensive development. Ishtiaq Wani stressed the importance of steadfast dedication among party workers, urging them to redouble efforts in the face of electoral challenges, ensuring a resounding victory for the BJP in the upcoming Parliamentary elections.
