Sri Anandpur Sahib, May 12, 2024: Dr. Subhash Sharma, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate contesting from Sri Anandpur Sahib, intensified his electoral campaign by addressing numerous gatherings in Morinda, Chamkaur Sahib, and Sri Anandpur Sahib on Sunday.

During a public meeting convened after inaugurating the BJP’s election office in Sri Chamkaur Sahib, Dr. Sharma launched a scathing attack on the pervasive influence of the mining mafia in the region.

“Akali and Congress leaders have shamelessly exploited the sacred land of Sri Anandpur Sahib for illicit mining, while the Aam Aadmi Party, in its brief tenure, surpassed them in this malpractice. Despite assurances from the Mann government to reduce the prices of essential resources like sand and gravel, the AAP leaders’ self-serving agenda has led to skyrocketing prices, crippling the aspirations of the common people,” Dr. Sharma declared.

Expressing determination to root out the mining mafia if elected, Dr. Sharma lamented the prolonged neglect of development in Sri Anandpur Sahib due to the exploitation of its resources.

Highlighting the accomplishments of the Modi government, Dr. Sharma praised the transformative initiatives in infrastructure development across the nation.

“Under Modi’s leadership, India’s road and rail networks rival those of developed countries. His visionary leadership has earned the respect of nations worldwide, and monumental achievements like the realization of Kartarpur Sahib have fulfilled longstanding aspirations,” Dr. Sharma emphasized.

Taking a swipe at the Congress, Dr. Sharma underscored Modi’s commitment to fulfilling promises, exemplified by the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, a cause historically opposed by the Gandhi family.

Dr. Sharma’s impassioned rhetoric resonated strongly with the public, particularly the youth, evident from the enthusiastic reception during his engagements in Morinda, Sri Chamkaur Sahib, and Sri Anandpur Sahib. His cavalcade was frequently halted by admirers seeking selfies, indicative of the fervor surrounding his candidacy.

Amidst bustling markets in Sri Chamkaur Sahib, Dr. Sharma appealed for support, accompanied by local BJP leaders, marking another stride in his dynamic electoral campaign.
