Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has revealed its list of candidates for 29 seats in the upcoming
Legislative Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. The party’s announcement includes a range of candidates for constituencies across the union territory.

Ashok Bhat will contest from the Habba Kadal seat, while Mohammad Akram Chaudhary is
set to represent the party from Gulabgarh. Thakur Randhir Singh has been nominated for
Kalakote-Rajouri, and Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali will contest from Budhal. Mohd. Iqbal Malik is
slated for Thannamandi, and Syed Mushtaq Ahmad Bukhari will run from Surankote.

In Poonch Haveli, Chowdhary Abdul Gani will contest, with Murtaza Khan running from
Mendhar. Pawan Gupta is announced for Udhampur West, while Balwant Singh Mankotia
will represent Chenani. Sunil Bhardwaj has been nominated for Ramnagar, and Jeevan Lal
will contest from Bani.

Satish Sharma will run from Bilawar, and Darshan Singh will contest from Basohli. Rajiv
Jasrotia is set for Jasrota, and Adv. Vijay Kumar Sharma will represent Hiranagar. Dr
Devinder Kumar Maniyal is nominated for Ramgarh, with Surjit Singh Slathia contesting from Samba.

Chandra Prakash Ganga will run from Vijaypur, and Gharu Ram Bhagat has been
nominated for Suchetgarh. Dr Narinder Singh Raina will contest from R.S. Pura-Jammu
South, while Yudhvir Sethi is set for Jammu East.

From Nagrota, Devinder Singh Rana has been nominated, and Arvind Gupta will contest
from Jammu West. Sham Lal Sharma is set for Jammu North, Mohan Lal Bhagat for
Akhnoor, and Rajeev Sharma for Chhamb.

This diverse list of candidates underscores BJP’s strategic approach as it gears up for the
Assembly elections, aiming to consolidate support across various constituencies in Jammu
and Kashmir.
