During the procession of the “Jalabhishek Yatra” in Nuh, Faridabad, the police have conducted a polygraph test on Mahesh, the accused who allegedly set Bittu Bajrangi’s brother Mahesh on fire during a discussion. The police visited Rohini, Delhi, with the accused on Wednesday for the test, which took more than three hours. The report is awaited, so it is unclear whether the accused is telling the truth or not.

Earlier, the police had questioned Armaan in connection with the case, but no significant information surfaced. Therefore, the police have not arrested Armaan so far. The Saran police station has registered the case, naming one accused as Armaan, while others are listed as unknown.

It is worth noting that a polygraph test measures an individual’s physical and mental activity to determine the truth. Questions are asked during the test, and the machine creates a chart of the person’s overall activity. This test was invented by American police officer and physiologist John A. Larson in 1921 to extract necessary information and unveil the truth from criminals. It records the heart rate, respiratory rate, lip movement, and other activities of the person.

On the night of December 13, Mahesh was present in the Mandi, and during this time, four or five youths in a car came and asked if he was Bittu Bajrangi’s brother. After confirming, they threw some flammable substance on him and set him on fire.

Mahesh, severely burned, was admitted to the hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries a few days later.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Manohar Lal visited Bittu Bajrangi’s house, where CM Khattar paid tribute to Mahesh Panchal, Bittu Bajrangi’s brother. During this visit, the CM expressed condolences to the family.
