BioNest-PU is set to organize a benchmarking program on January 30, 2024. The event, titled “National Start-up Day – Start Something New,” aims to celebrate National Start-up Day. Professor Renu Wig, Vice Chancellor of Panjab University, Chandigarh, launched the poster for this program. BioNest-PU has consistently embraced and supported innovations that can be translated from idea to reality for social benefit. Its vision includes nurturing existing and potential start-ups, reshaping minds towards innovation, and creating pipelines for the same.
With the humble intention of fostering awareness among innovators to implement entrepreneurship at Panjab University, Chandigarh, and creating a robust ecosystem, BioNest is extending its reach to host innovations not only from the region but also from other parts of India. This program will be implemented under the banner of Atma-Nirbhar-Bharat to develop the vision of the Make-in-India campaign in start-ups, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The Project Leader at BioNest, Panjab University, Chandigarh, has extended invitations to an angel investor, start-up builder, and social capitalist. Innovators will have the opportunity to present their ideas, innovations, products, and processes in front of special guests. BioNEST-PU will also honor select start-ups that have propelled their vision forward by presenting awards in categories such as Intellectual Property, Commercialization, Innovation, Technology Transfer, Ideas, and The All-Rounder.
