Tarari Election Result 2025 OUT:  Tarari — a largely rural constituency in Bhojpur district that lies along the banks of the Sone river and near commuter corridors to Patna — is undergoing a subtle but important shift. While caste networks and agrarian ties remain strong, rising commuter populations, flood-and-erosion pressures and the need for better connectivity are changing the electoral equation. With counting set for 14 November 2025, the key question is whether old loyalties hold or new priorities reshape the verdict.

Tarari Election Result Date 2025

Polling in Tarari took place on 6 November 2025 (Phase 1). The counting and result announcement are scheduled for 14 November 2025. This election will test how riverside and semi-rural electorates respond when infrastructure and commuter dynamics start rivalling older caste-patterns.

Tarari: Current MLA Name

The sitting MLA is Vishal Prashant of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who won a 2024 by-election. His standing and how well he has navigated the evolving terrain will be key to his re-election chances.

Tarari Election Result 2010 Winner

In 2010, Narendra Kumar Pandey alias Sunil Pandey (JD(U)) won with ~48,413 votes (~38%). That result marked a period when Tarari began showing competitive swings rather than safe returns for one party.

Tarari Election Result 2015 Winner

In 2015, Sudama Prasad (CPI(ML)(L)) won the seat — signalling that non-mainstream parties and local issues were gaining traction.

Tarari Election Result 2020 Winner

In 2020, Sudama Prasad again won with 73,945 votes. The margin and vote-share showed that the seat had moved into “swing” territory.

Tarari : 2024 By Election Winner

The by-election for the Tarari Assembly Constituency (No. 196) was held on 13 November 2024. Vishal Prashant of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the seat with approximately 78,564 votes, defeating Raju Yadav of the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation (CPI-ML (L)) who secured around 68,057 votes — a margin of about 10,500 votes.

This by-poll was triggered because the sitting MLA, Sudama Prasad of CPI-ML (L) (winner in 2020) vacated the seat after contesting and winning the Lok Sabha elections.

Tarari Voter Turnout Percentage 2025

For 2025, Tarari recorded a voter turnout of approximately 63.61%. This relatively strong turnout suggests heightened interest — especially given local issues like floods and connectivity beginning to rise.

What Is the Victory Margin of the Tarari Constituency Assembly Election 2020 Result?

The margin in 2020 was around 11,015 votes (73,945 vs 62,930). Given that narrower margins are now common, changes of even a few thousand votes may flip the seat.
