Singheshwar Election 2025: Singheshwar is the 72nd Assembly constituency in Bihar. Reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC), it falls under the Madhepura district and is part of the Supaul Lok Sabha constituency following the 2008 delimitation. Before that, it was part of the Madhepura parliamentary seat. The constituency was established in 1977. While the Janata Dal (United) held the seat for four consecutive terms from 2005, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) won it in 2020, ending the JD(U)'s streak. The region lies in the heart of the agriculturally dominant Kosi belt.
