Sikta Election 2025:  The Sikta is 17th Bihar legislative Assembly. Sikta is a general category Assembly constituency.  Sikta Assembly constituency is in West Champaran district in the Indian state of Bihar.

Sikta Election 2025 Date

Sikta Assembly constituency will observe polling day in the second phase of Bihar Assembly election on November 11, 2025. Counting of votes will take place on November 14, 2025, followed by the declaration of results on the same day. 

Sikta Bihar Election Result 2020

In the 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election for the Sikta constituency, Birendra Prasad Gupta of the CPI(ML)L won with 49,075 votes, securing 28.85% of the total votes. Independent candidate Dilip Varma followed closely with 46,773 votes (27.5%), while Firoj Ahmad of the JD(U) came third, receiving 35,798 votes (21.05%), marking a decline of 22.43% from the previous election. Other notable candidates included Rijabanullah Alias Rizwan Riyazi from AIMIM with 8,519 votes (5.01%), and several independents like Vinay Kumar Yadav (2.45%), Wasi Ahmad (1.58%), and Hardev Ram (1.52%). Minor parties such as the Bhartiya Panchayat Party, Peoples Party of India (Democratic), The Plurals Party, and NCP also contested, but secured less than 2% votes each. The NOTA (None of the Above) option received 2,022 votes, accounting for 1.19%, showing a decrease of 2.28% from the previous election.
