Rajauli (SC) Bihar Election 2025
Situated along the Dhanarjay River, Rajauli is a subdivision-level town in the Nawada district of the Magadh division. It lies along the Jharkhand border, surrounded by small and medium-sized hills. Once a mineral-rich area, its granite and mica mines shifted to Jharkhand after the state’s creation. Rajauli was once home to monsoon and prairie forests teeming with wildlife, but over time, these vanished. Today, it is known for its hill-top temples, a grand 200-year-old gurdwara, and mouth-watering Balushahi, a local sweet.
Rajauli (SC) has its election day on Tuesday, 11 November 2025.
Counting of votes will take place on November 14, 2025, followed by the declaration of results on the same day.
In the 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate Prakash Veer won from the Rajauli (SC) constituency. He defeated Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Kanhaiya Kumar by a margin of 12,593 votes. The total voter turnout in the Rajauli assembly constituency was approximately 50.43%.
