Makhdumpur (SC) Election Result: With the results now declared, Subedar Das of the Rashtriya Janata Dal has secured a close victory in Makhdumpur, earning 74,769 votes with a narrow margin of 1,830 votes. Makhdumpur, a major block-level town in Bihar’s Jehanabad district, lies in the Magadh region near the Jamuna river and just four kilometres from the Dardha river. Positioned about 60 km from Patna and 30 km from Gaya, the town presents a striking contrast — despite not having a single college, it records an impressive literacy rate of 69.08 per cent, well above Bihar’s average of 61.80 per cent.

The mandate adds a fresh chapter to Makhdumpur’s political story, reflecting how evolving voter choices continue to shape the constituency’s wider narrative.
