Lauriya Election 2025: The Lauriya is constituency no 5 in Bihar. Lauriya Assembly constituency is an assembly constituency in Paschim Champaran district in the Indian state of Bihar. Since 2008, this assembly constituency is numbered 5 amongst 243 constituencies.

Lauriya Assembly constituency will observe polling day in the second phase of Bihar Assembly election on November 11, 2025. Counting of votes will take place on November 14, 2025, followed by the declaration of results on the same day. 

Lauriya Bihar Election Result 2020

In the 2020 Bihar Assembly election for the Lauriya constituency, BJP’s Vinay Bihari secured a decisive victory with 77,927 votes, capturing 49.48% of the total vote share  an increase of 9.01% from the previous election. He was followed by Shambhu Tiwari of the RJD, who garnered 48,923 votes (31.06%), marking a modest gain of 2.99%. The BSP candidate, Ran Kaushal Pratap Singh, came third with 17,515 votes (11.12%), showing an improvement of 4.77%. Independent candidates Neelam Singh and Doctor Mahto received 1,906 (1.21%) and 1,541 (0.98%) votes respectively, while Ajitesh Kumar of The Plurals Party secured 1,462 votes (0.93%).
